Hi, Preparation is essential if you want to do well. Have a look at the checklist:

Stage 1 : Preparation
1-Re-read your resume.
2-Prepare questions to ask and to be asked
3-Work out clothes to wear
4-Rehearse interview
5-Anticipate the obvious questions during the interview
6-Work out a strategy for dealing with stress
7-Read vacancy details, employer's literature - what they are and what they want
8-Know where the interview will take place

Stage 2 - First Impressions Count
1-Arrive in good time
2-Make a good entrance
3-Body language - handshake, posture, eye contact
4-Smile

Stage 3 - The Interview
1-Be yourself
2-Be honest
3-Be prepared to talk - but not too much
4-Don't be afraid to ask for clarification
5-Illustrate your answers with examples
6-Be ready to sell yourself
7-Be interesting

Stage 4 - The Final Stage
1-Know when the interview is over - read employer's body language
2-Thank him/her for his/her time
3-Learn from the experience - ask for feedback if necessary.
